ZeroDesktop, Inc., a leading developer of next-generation personal Cloud Operating System and Cloud Service Brokerage solutions, announced the expansion of its portfolio of Cloud Services Brokerage APIs with the availability of four new mobile apps for iOS and Android devices to enable development of customer-branded solutions for Telecos, OEMs, ISVs and enterprises.

ZeroDesktop’s Cloud Services Brokerage platform integrates and manages all of the user’s content under one virtual roof providing unified accessibility by Web and mobile applications. This solution makes it easier, safer and more productive for individuals and organizations to navigate, integrate, manage and extend cloud services.

The addition of ZeroDesktop’s mobile apps for iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and Android phones enable ZeroDesktop partners to develop customer-branded services, providing their users with a unified, easy and secure way to access and manage all of their cloud content, aggregated by type, timeline or individual cloud service, regardless which services they use. ZeroDesktop’s extensive portfolio of APIs, and an upcoming software developer kit (SDK), give ISVs and developers powerful cross-cloud meta-services including inter-cloud searching, content aggregation and indexing features for integration and customization.

ZeroDesktop’s supported cloud services include Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Facebook, Flickr, Google Drive, Instagram, Photobucket, Picasa, Recood, SkyDrive, SugarSync and 4shared. Once the free ZeroDesktop app is downloaded and installed, users can search and instantly find their content stored in a variety of cloud services, share any size file or folder from any source by using a secure link, and browse or access their content by type or date wherever the files are stored. The free version of ZeroDesktop’s “ZeroPC Cloud Navigator” mobile and tablet apps for cloud-savvy and professional users is now available in the Apple App Store.

“A major challenge is evolving for individual users, organizations and enterprises due to the explosion of new cloud services, plus the growth in volume, size, variety and disparate formats of digital files, making it increasingly difficult to access, search, manage and unify cloud content securely and easily,” said Young Song, CEO of ZeroDesktop. “A professional cloud service brokerage platform such as ZeroDesktop provides a solution to this challenge with a turnkey, customizable solution. We are currently working with several major OEMs, ISVs and Telco partners to introduce differentiated cloud services and solutions, and we plan to work with additional partners to localize our ZeroDesktop cloud solutions globally.”

Approximately 40% of U.S knowledge workers and consumers today are using one or more personal cloud services for productivity, storage and backup. The strong adoption of personal cloud services is expected to significantly increase, and by 2016 more than 150 million U.S. users will utilize three or more personal cloud services. Documents, photos, videos and other digital content will continue to be scattered across a variety of cloud services, each with different passwords and user interfaces making it difficult for users to find their content. The ZeroDesktop Cloud Services Brokerage platform provides consistent and unified one-stop access to find, manage and share cloud content under a single platform.
