Zagg is a well-known player in the mobile accessories market. The company has now announced that they are acquiring a rival player iFrogz for around USD 105 million.
Zagg said that iFrogz would now operate as an independent subsidiary. It would still be headed by its current president and co-founder Scott Huskinson.
The company is gaining some high profile customers through this acquisition deal. iFrogz supply their products to Wal-Mart Stores, DAS, Wynit, 7-Eleven, Tessco Technologies and Micro Center.
This is the first acquisition by Zagg ever since they launched their IPO around four years ago.
