Things are changing on the web at a rapid pace. New technologies are arriving which makes it tough for web developers to support ancient web browsers like Internet Explorer 6.
Digg has already announced that they are planning to drop complete support for users on Internet Explorer 6 web browser.
The news in the market is that Google could soon do the same for web users visiting YouTube on IE6.
Some users accessing YouTube with IE6 have reported that they were alerted by a message at the top of the YouTube page that the support for their web browser is going to be discontinued.
The message advised the user to switch to another web browser. The suggested browsers included Google Chrome (of course!), Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox 3.5.
