Yak Communications announced the relaunch of its Mobile App, available for download on devices running Apple and Android operating software. With YApp Mobile, customers are able to make and receive free local calls from anywhere using a Wi-Fi or Data connection.
YApp Mobile is available via prepaid and postpaid versions.
For Yak Home Phone customers, the postpaid version extends Home Phone service to their Mobile device, letting users take their Home Phone number, unlimited local minutes, hundreds of long distance minutes and 11 calling features with them wherever they go – free of charge.
For users seeking a prepaid option, YApp Mobile provides a new phone number for free and a variety of free features – call waiting, voicemail, unlimited local calling and 100 North American long distance minutes every month for the first three months.

Yak's Mobile App includes 'Yak Clear Voice' technology – proprietary software developed by Yak engineers which provides crystal clear voice calls using enhanced noise-reduction technology; making it a competitive alternative to costly cellphone calling plans with poor network connection.
YApp Mobile includes easy payment options for both postpaid and prepaid users. For Yak Home Phone (postpaid) customers, any long distance minutes which exceed the user's monthly allowance will appear on their regular invoice. For prepaid YApp Mobile users, credits can be purchased through iTunes or Google Wallet and used to select inexpensive long distance minute buckets or à la carte options.
