Weplan is a free Android app that analyses the calls, connections and messages from users' smartphones and suggests the plan and company that best meets their needs. After an exhaustive study of the telephony market in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden, the company has built an extensive database that includes all plans and companies in the countries, allowing it to offer the best plan for consumers from the 46 currently available.
After being installed, the app helps the user to select their current plan, performs an automatic analysis of consumption and instantly recommends the optimal plan in an accurate, independent and completely impartial manner. In addition, if the customer wants to change to a cheaper plan Weplan facilitates this process.
But Weplan is not just for comparing phone plans. To deliver greater savings, the app also facilitates consumption control through a simple and functional alerts, graphs and statistics system. In this way, users can always have control over call, SMS and Internet consumption, differentiating between Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
Consumption figures are shown in real time and the personalized alert service allows for various types of warnings: when a certain level of consumption is reached, when a user is about to exhaust their Internet browsing plan, upon reaching the end of the contract or after each call, indicating its cost, helping users avoid surprises on their phone bill.
Finally, Belgians will be able to ignore the fine print and truly start saving on the phone bill with Weplan.
The international launch begins in seven Latin American countries (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil) and 14 European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Greece, France, Belgium, Italy and Poland). In a second phase, to be developed in the coming weeks, the app will be launched in Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey.
