Already making its mark in the USA, the new Visto Mobile Enterprise Server is now available worldwide for streamlined and synchronised use with Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino systems. With the enhanced system, IT managers can typically install, configure and deploy the Visto mobile email solution enterprise-wide in around 30 minutes.

The Visto Mobile Enterprise Server provides a number of important enhancements requested by mobile operators and their enterprise customers, and also identified by industry analysts. These include over-the-air (OTA) synchronization of calendar and contacts, and fast and continuous IP-based push of email and personal information management (PIM) data.

Maintaining Visto’s market-leading broad device support, the Visto Mobile Enterprise Server works with the widest range of handheld corporate devices such as the Symbian OS-based Nokia 6600 and Sony Ericsson P800/P900; Windows Mobile devices – both Pocket PC 2003 and Smartphone 2003 – and with Palm OS devices like the Treo 600, and J2ME MIDP-based devices.

Designed for existing mobile networks as well as the new third generation carriers, the Visto Mobile Enterprise Server provides continuously synchronized, IP-based push email and mobile messaging solutions for wireless operators to offer to enterprise customers on the broadest set of mobile device platforms

“No other mobile email solution provider has such a feature-rich, IP-push solution as Visto. We offer both Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino server support, broad device platform support for all the popular mobile phones, and distribution through 10 wireless operators worldwide. No other provider even comes close,” said Brian Bogosian, chairman, president and CEO of Visto.

“Visto Mobile Enterprise Server offers the features mobile enterprises are demanding: an affordable, hosted service available from their wireless operator that supports multiple devices and works over all popular wireless operator networks,” said Gene Signorini, Analyst for Yankee Group. “Visto has been lining up an impressive set of new functionality with the Visto Mobile Platform.”
