VARs Are Invited To A Webcast on iSCSI Storage

D&H is inviting its D&H Canada customers to attend a Solutions Lab webcast, “iSCSI Storage: More Value Than Meets The Eye.”  This educational session will be conducted via www.dandh.ca on October 24 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. ET.  The session will include a live Q&A after the presentation.  The webcast is the latest instance of D&H extending its Solutions Lab instructional program to resellers in Canada.  The event is presented at no charge for D&H customers.

Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) is an IP-based storage networking standard for linking data storage arrays, allowing businesses to facilitate data transfers and manage storage over long distances. This protocol is an emerging driver for the adoption of storage area networks (SANs) in the SMB marketplace, still a growing area of opportunity for resellers.

During the session, D&H Solutions Specialist Matt Allison will discuss storage options available to SMB resellers, including DAS, NAS and SAN storage.  The program will include a full walk-through on how to deploy an iSCSI target on a server.  Matt will outline the differences between, and the specific values of, each type of storage network, including comparisons between Fibre Channel and iSCSI protocols.  Tune in to find out how VARs selling into SMB environments can leverage these technologies to offer high-value, low-cost secure storage solutions to customers.

“We’re proud to be able to offer a new webcast event for our resellers,” said Greg Tobin, general manager at D&H Canada.  “As time goes on, there will be more educational offerings through the D&H Solutions Lab venue for our customers across North America, as D&H continues to expand the program throughout the region. It’s an exciting and convenient way to introduce new opportunities to resellers and provide detailed instruction on how to deploy and market profitable technologies.”

D&H Canada customers can find the link to register at www.dandh.ca or call their D&H Canada account representatives at 1-800-340-1008.
