UniPrint (www.uniprint.net), the world leader in printing virtualization, today announced the availability of VPQ Connector, a new software product that enables the seamless integration of the UniPrint Infinity secure pull print solution with multifunction printers (MFP’s) from Samsung, Xerox and HP. VPQ Connector allows users to release print jobs securely and on-demand to any printer without an additional investment in hardware. Companies can also access secure print release capabilities from UniPrint’s Virtual Print Queue (VPQ).

VPQ Connector allows seamless interoperability and product familiarity with the single intuitive interface on an MFP panel. Organizations can deploy secure pull printing in a multi-vendor printer infrastructure and benefit from many features found directly on the multifunction device. Users can release print jobs anywhere within an organization’s printing environment while saving money, reducing energy expenditures and improving security.

Arron Fu, VP of Software Development, UniPrint comments, “As businesses seek consolidation and cost savings in their printing infrastructure, MFP’s have become an essential part of the equation. Our solution is compatible with hardware from manufacturers such as Xerox, Samsung and HP. Not only do these devices provide fast and efficient printing, they also combine copying, scanning and faxing all in one unit. Companies in verticals where security is paramount – such as financial services, government and healthcare – can benefit greatly by adding VPQ Connector to their print environment.”

“UniPrint has been a pioneer in providing enterprise printing solutions for years,” comments Daniel Cheng, President of Process Fusion Inc. “Starting with the development of the industry’s first printer-vendor independent managed print solution for any computing environment through to the latest release of UniPrint Infinity. As a system integration partner of Xerox, we understand that innovations like the VPQ Connector are integral to improving the efficiency of MFP’s and advancing the industry as a whole.”
