Everyone is collecting as much data as possible on everyone to build a profile, connect the dots and predict their future habits. One company said that the jeans you buy can "communicate" with the store to ping you when you need to buy another pair.
The garden store will tell you when to water your plants or what plants you should buy. Another company said they cannot disclose how they gather the data or what they will use it for. Are we really ready for tracking 24/7 for any and everything we do? Where is the line? As this sign says, the message for big data is everyone's dream, but maybe it will turn out to be everyone nightmare.
Careful what you wish for!
