Xerox continued to strengthen its channel partner operations with the appointment of Steven Connor to vice president, Channel Partner Operations. Connor will be responsible for the strategies and programs related to the company’s network of channel partners – including alliance partners, distributors and value-added resellers (VARs) – and its community of Authorized Xerox Agencies.

Connor will concentrate on providing organizational strategy, programs and operational support for more than 2,000 independent partners across Canada. He will be looking to expand Xerox’s channel presence, and provide partners with competitive and profitable business opportunities through easy access to the company’s products and services. Connor replaces the former vice president of the Indirect Channel and Supplies Organization (ICSO) Ajay Dhingra, who left the company to pursue a new venture as the owner of Bay Street Document Systems in Toronto – one of the largest Xerox Authorized Agencies in Canada.

“Aligning our channel partner and agent business under Steve`s leadership makes good business sense and provides us with a unique and exciting opportunity to identify and leverage synergies that will help to further grow our business,” said Mandy Shapansky, president and CEO, Xerox Canada. “Steven’s breadth of experience and strong customer focus will help evolve our partnering strategy, with the goal of increasing our technology and managed print services market leadership.”

Connor recently served as vice president of the Canadian agent operations, and prior to that was vice president of marketing. He joined Xerox in 1994 and has held various management roles in sales, training, marketing, channels, and general management.
