Electronic Arts has launched a version of their game Spores on the Facebook.
The Facebook game has been named Spore Islands.
This edition of the game is mostly a strategy game where you manage your own creature and compete against other users.
The company aims to generate revenues from this game through sale of DNA points which can be used to further enhance customized creatures.
