IT security and data protection firm Sophos today announced that it has been named to Everything Channel's prestigious 2010 CRN Annual Report Card (ARC). For 25 years, the Annual Report Card has served as the definitive benchmark of vendor/partner relationships and an industry standard for measuring excellence in the channel community. This year, Everything Channel's research team surveyed more than 3,700 solution providers in 18 product/service categories and asked them to evaluate the importance and satisfaction with their vendors' products, support and channel programs.
Sophos received mention in Product Innovation in Client Security Software category for its flagship solution Sophos Endpoint Security and Data Protection – an all in one malware and data protection solution – that integrates SophosLabs intelligence to accelerate protection against zero-day and web-based threats.
Sophos has made substantial investments in the channel by developing key initiatives. Sophos Channel Partners benefit from a number of programs and platforms and are supported pre – and post sales by dedicated channel account resources. Sophos offers partners guaranteed margins on deal registration, a custom partner online pricing, quoting and ordering system, financing program options via Sophos Financial Solutions, and extensive marketing support and comprehensive training programs.
"For 25 years, we have asked solution providers to rate vendors on their channel commitment and excellence in providing superb service to identify the true leaders of the channel. Winning the CRN Annual Report Card is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT channel industry, and we congratulate Sophos for making it to the list," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.
The ARC awards were presented on Aug. 24 at the 2010 XChange Americas conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas.
"We're pleased that Sophos Endpoint Security and Data Protection earned top accolades in the Product Innovation in Client Security Software category," said VP of Global Channels Chris Doggett. "We've integrated more security and data protection capabilities into the endpoint, which has allowed our partners to extend more value to their customers – more pro-active security and data protection for their anti-virus budget."
