Sony has stated that they need more testing time for their PlayStation Network platform.
The company took the service down after it was hacked and personal information was stolen from their servers.
Sony is still hoping to get everything back online before the end of the month.
They are running security tests on the platform after the implementation of the fixes. This could take an additional couple of days before they are sure about the safety of the service.
It is pretty clear that whoever hacked PSN would try to do it again once it is back online. And Sony cannot risk getting hacked once again.
Gamers too would think twice before storing their personal information on Sony servers for a long time to come.
