Continuing its growth in the business sector, Sony Electronics announced that starting this month it will extend its distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a global IT supply chain services company, to include its VAIO Professional notebook computers, accessories and services
.

SYNNEX will now distribute the BX, TX and new SZ series, of VAIO Professional PCs, as well as build-to-order options, to IT solution providers across the United States. SYNNEX will also sell VAIO notebook accessories and services. This is in addition to the Sony displays and storage systems the company currently offers.

“SYNNEX has a solid base of resellers who target small-to-medium businesses, which complements our current distribution,” said Mike Abary, vice president of VAIO product marketing at Sony Electronics. “This expanded approach will contribute to our momentum in the business sector.”

The VAIO Professional line features Sony’s AdaptivePlus(TM) technology, incorporating flexibility, security and communications features for cost-effective IT resource management. Its modular approach to accessories offers a variety of options to best fit a workforce, while incorporating key features for businesses like a biometric fingerprint sensor for security and integrated WWAN, WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity options.
