There are many managed services providers (MSP) and solution providers offering cloud today. Since 93 per cent of North American businesses and governments have some form of private, public or hybrid cloud environments having cloud services has become the norm and not the exception.
Sherbrooke, Que.-based SherWeb wants to change that by revealing the next step in your cloud business strategy through a five-city road show starting in Chicago on May 3rd and ending in Dallas on the 7th of June. Other stops include: Fort Lauderdale on May 16, New York the next day on May 17th, and in Irvine, Calif., on June 5th. All these events will be held at the Microsoft Technology Center in those cities.
You can register for any of these events here.
SherWeb is going on the road to instruct its more than 5,000 channel partners on how to produce profitable Cloud services, along with other strategies such as positioning your solution provider business to stand out from the competition and how to properly showcase your cloud solutions in the marketplace.
SherWeb will also have demonstrations of its next step cloud products throughout the five-city tour.
Business-to-business cloud provider SherWeb has made a name for itself by offering hosted exchange bundles on the Microsoft stack along with private cloud and multi-tenant SharePoint hosting services. During its time in business, SherWeb has become a top 10 cloud provider, based on research from IDC Canada. And, last year SherWeb won the coveted SMB Partner of the Year award at Microsoft Canada’s IMPACT Awards 2017 event.
Aziz Benmalek, the vice president for Worldwide Hosting & Cloud Services for Microsoft, said SherWeb relies on its channel partner network to drive ongoing transformation to the cloud.
Benmalek added that customers who are adopting hybrid cloud solutions through SherWeb helps the company own the end-to-end cloud customer lifecycle.
In Microsoft’s most recent annual report, more than 100 million people commercially use Office 365 with an expected growth of 250 million in 2019. Microsoft exceeded its goal by reaching $20.4 billion in its commercial cloud annualized revenue run rate.
One of the reasons for the success of Office 365 is that SherWeb was one of the first cloud service providers to attach themselves to the two new Microsoft Data Centers in Ontario and Quebec that opened in 2016.
Jason Brown, director of product management for SherWeb, said, at that time, hosting data in Canada will also give its 5,000 resellers the ammunition they need to push more sales of Office 365, Azure and Dynamics CRM Online. “Now with the data centers it will open up a whole new range of opportunities for resellers. Combine this with SherWeb’s free migration and premium bilingual technical support and you’ve got a winning recipe for success.”
But, Office 365 success also means reselling Office 365 is getting more competitive in the market making it more challenging to expand and retain customers, according to SherWeb.
One thing the SherWeb road show wants to answer for solution providers is the recurring revenue possibilities in value-added services.
The road show will have experts on this to help teach MSPs and solution providers how to grow your cloud business outside of Office 365 with other offerings in VoIP, Cloud PBX, and Secure Office.
Unique to SherWeb at this five-city road show is the ability to have one-on-one discussions with SherWeb executives and technical staff on creating a new strategy for cloud services.
On hand from SherWeb will be:
- Mathieu Leblanc, the director of partner success for SherWeb. Leblanc has implemented numerous programs that allow partners with different business models to build a winning cloud strategy.
- Guillaume Boisvert, security and compliance product director at SherWeb. Boisvert oversees the company’s security and compliance product portfolio and was instrumental in commercializing the company’s public and private cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions.
- Francois Laflamme, the VoIP product director for SherWeb. Laflamme is a unified communications and VoIP expert with more than 25-years of experience.
