Leading the Australian expansion is Chris Butchers who comes to SAND with over 25 years experience in the software industry. He began his career in customer support with Hewlett Packard and has worked with major corporations worldwide. Chris holds an MBA from Deakin University, Melbourne. “There is great opportunity worldwide for SAND’s column store database technology,” said Chris, “and we are seeing increased demand in Australia.”
