Pumatech, Inc., a leading provider of
synchronization software and services, today announced availability of
its Intellisync(R) and Enterprise Intellisync(R) version 5.3
desktop-based synchronization software, which adds support for Pocket
PC 2003 handhelds, Microsoft Outlook 2003 (Outlook 11), Lotus Notes
6.5 and additional features of Novell GroupWise 6.5. Intellisync and
Enterprise Intellisync version 5.3 are currently available for
purchase (or as an upgrade for existing users) from the Pumatech Web
Store at www.pumatech.com, and will be available via reseller channels
by early December.
In addition to delivering support for Pocket PC 2003, Outlook 2003
and Lotus Notes 6.5, version 5.3 is designed to provide enhanced
synchronization capabilities for Novell GroupWise 6.5 users. These
include improved support for GroupWise 6.5 email, alarms and
checklists, along with synchronization of GroupWise 6.5 Memo data to
Palm OS(R) handhelds.

Intellisync software provides two-way, desktop-based
synchronization between PCs and Palm OS, Pocket PC or Windows CE
devices. The product automatically synchronizes email, calendar,
contacts and tasks with such PIM (personal information management) and
groupware applications as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Lotus
Notes and Organizer, Novell GroupWise and ACT!. Current users of
Intellisync can upgrade to Intellisync 5.3 for $34.95. Users who
purchased the previous version of Intellisync on or after Oct. 1, 2003
are entitled to a free upgrade.
The Enterprise Intellisync corporate licensing solution provides
all of the capabilities of the standard Intellisync product, plus a
centralized Administrator Console that adds speed and simplicity to
configuration, deployment and support of Intellisync software. Current
Pumatech maintenance customers can upgrade to Enterprise Intellisync
5.3 at no additional cost.
Version 5.3 is currently available only in the English language.
