Publishing Dynamics introduces an enhanced version of its ReachMail enterprise e-mail marketing software. ReachMail 3.0 offers enhancements in usability, including XML support, additional data integration options, spam analysis for optimized message delivery, and an advanced visual editor and workflow.

ReachMail allows organizations to create, fulfill, and maintain permission-based e-mail marketing campaigns via a web browser. The solution is offered in an ASP (Application Service Provider) model where organizations pay fees based on the amount of e-mail delivered, or in a licensed capacity.

New XML-based data integration capabilities allow ReachMail users to conveniently aggregate data from multiple content sources. “Our publishing and financial clients are aggregating data from a variety of content providers such as Lexis-Nexis and Dow Jones, and retail clients extract product data directly from product catalogs to send targeted promotions,” explains David Albert, president, Publishing Dynamics. “Once the initial setup is complete, the system not only exponentially saves time in deploying campaigns, but the content is relevant and timely.”

Version 3.0 includes improved message composition and workflow capabilities from version 2.4, including a spam checking feature that identifies message content that could trigger spam filters. The tool allows users to correct and edit e-mail content to optimize message delivery. Message composition has been improved by adding a robust, yet user-friendly visual editing system and better workflow.

The new release is more conducive to data integration with third-party CRM systems and contact management software. “Capturing contact data from multiple departments is critical to successful e-mail marketing,” comments Albert. “By consolidating contacts from marketing, sales and senior management, ReachMail 3.0 can capture and compare duplicate or outdated data across the enterprise for different purposes.”
