At Common 2004, the IBM iSeries user conference, PeopleSoft Inc. today announced PeopleSoft World Express, one of the industry’s most comprehensive solutions for small businesses with annual revenues between $20M and $100M. The new solution includes PeopleSoft World enterprise applications, more than 30 industry-specific business processes, implementation services from certified channel partners, and the IBM iSeries technology platform. The solution is available for industrial manufacturers, wholesale distributors, homebuilders, and construction companies.
Developed exclusively on the IBM iSeries platform, PeopleSoft World Express builds on 20 years of enterprise applications innovation, industry-leading customer satisfaction, and unmatched reliability. With this new offering, PeopleSoft is able to deliver a comprehensive solution to an entirely new market segment—one that demands low maintenance solutions and a rapid return on investment, without sacrificing their need for rich functionality.

§Configured Business Processes: The new solution is configured with 31 industry-specific business processes, including Returning an Item to a Supplier, Performing Product Costing and Item Introduction, Purchasing an Inventory Item, and Managing Accounts Receivable Balances. These embedded business processes enable small businesses to implement the solution quickly with a rapid return on investment.
§Implementation Services: PeopleSoft distributors will provide user training and implementation services for the PeopleSoft World Express solution. The distributors are certified by PeopleSoft and have comprehensive industry knowledge and implementation skills.
