Panda Security has expanded its international presence with the creation of a new subsidiary in Benelux. This move consolidates Panda’s leading position in Europe.

Panda Security already had a presence in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg through its franchise system. Now the company has consolidated its presence in these countries with the acquisition of its partner in this region. Currently, Panda Security has two offices in Benelux: One in Mechelen (Belgium) and another in Gorinchem (Holland).
“We are very satisfied that our partner in Benelux over the past few years and all its employees are now a closer part of the Panda family. They have been doing a great job and we want to continue helping them achieve our joint objectives in this new stage,” explains Juan Santana, CEO of Panda Security. “Our new offices in this region underline the commitment of Panda Security to continue our international expansion and consolidate our position as a leader and reference point for the European market, one of the most important globally.”

This new subsidiary joins the list of existing ones in the USA, France, Japan and Spain. Panda Security also has franchises in more than 50 countries. This broad international presence makes it one of the major players on the IT security market.

This latest expansion is part of the company’s internationalization strategy, which began last year after the entry into the company’s share capital of investment groups such as Investindustrial, Gala Capital, HarbourVest Partners and Atlantic Bridge.
