Oracle has announced their own rival to Google Docs and Microsoft Office Web Apps.
They call it Oracle Cloud Office and it is aimed at corporates looking for collaborative online office suite solutions.
The company said that this product is based on the open standard ODF standard and it is compatible with Microsoft Office file formats.
Oracle said:
Customers benefit from innovative web collaboration mobile phone and tablet document access,on-premise or on-demand deployment plus native integration with Oracle Open Office. Moreover, it is also a great fit for telcos and service providers as customized deployment for their home and business user base.
