OnX Enterprise Solutions, a leading designer and operator of mission-critical computing environments, has received what many companies consider to be the highest award; recognition from its own employees that their organization is providing a positive workplace. OnX has been named one of the “Best Workplaces in Canada”, a distinguished honour determined by both employee ratings and independent evaluation.
This is the second consecutive year that OnX has received the award, further reinforcing that the company invests in its people and culture in a meaningful way. Ed Vos, President and CEO of OnX, acknowledges, “This recognition is indicative that our employees are driven, passionate and innovative. It emphasizes our ability to provide a fulfilling environment and we continue to attract the top talent in the marketplace.” Ed Vos further highlights, “I am proud of the success of the OnX team and that they find OnX a great place to work.”
The list of “Best Workplaces in Canada” is compiled by Great Places to Work Canada. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from a 58-statement survey completed by a random selection of employees, along with their open-ended comments about their organization; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to the five trust-building dimensions of a great place to work: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
