Rogers Wireless and Nokia announced the
Canadian availability of the Nokia E71 – the device that was named the “Test
Best Cell Phone” in the November issue of WIRED magazine.

The sleek, stainless steel Nokia E71 design optimizes the user experience
inside and out with a one touch key to access email, a full QWERTY keyboard,
easy set-up and intuitive calendar and contacts functions. It is the thinnest
full QWERTY smartphone in Rogers’ extensive line up of innovative mobile
devices, offering Canadians a range of functions for both their professional
and personal needs.

Email made easy

Business users who use Microsoft Exchange can access email using Mail for
Exchange mobile email client which comes pre-loaded on the Nokia E71. Along
with corporate email, users can have instant access to their calendars,
contacts, and tasks, plus the ability to download attachments including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint or PDF files directly to their device. For personal email
use, the Nokia E71 can support a range of email accounts including Gmail,
Yahoo! and Hotmail.

The E71’s two separate customizable home screens allow users the ability
to easily switch between work and personal user profiles at the touch of a
single button, making the Nokia E71 is the perfect productivity tool for those
wanting to maintain a work/life balance within one device.

“Canadians today live increasingly busy lives and the line between work
and personal time is often blurred,” said Richard White, General Manager,
Nokia Canada. “The Nokia E71 is a sophisticated device that proves technology
does not have to limit personal time but can instead enhance productivity and
give us the tools to do what we want, when we want.”

Designed for the way we live

The Nokia E71 lives up to Nokia’s reputation of quality and craftsmanship
as it is designed with beautiful stainless steel, has a narrow shape and full
QWERTY keyboard, and weighs only 4.4 ounces. The stunning screen displays up
to 16 million colours making it a pleasure to view photos, maps and more.

The WiFi enabled Nokia E71 includes a number of entertainment features.
