Another surprising result was that 14% of those surveyed said they did not prefer their data to be hosted in their country. I wanted to know why and luckily that was in the data. It turned out that half of that 14% didn’t want their data within their country because they were under the impression that if they were outside of their country they wouldn’t be able to access that data because it was somehow bound within their country’s borders. That seemed odd to me but it kept coming up as a concern.
