COOLPIX S10
Powerful 10x zoom with Vibration Reduction technologies, highly portable body and swivel design for impressive shots from any angle.

COOLPIX S10 features a stylish swivel lens design, a distinctive wave-surface body and high-quality camera finish. The powerful 10x Zoom-Nikkor lens with Vibration Reduction (VR) allows users to overcome camera shake to achieve sharper, more stable pictures in a range of shooting situations. The COOLPIX S10 also offers increased light sensitivity up to ISO 800 that lets users get great-looking results in lower light without the need for extended exposure, which can otherwise cause blurred photos. This feature also allows the camera to boost shutter speeds for capturing fast-moving subjects.

The COOLPIX S10 features 6.0 megapixel resolution, and a large, bright 2.5-inch LCD screen with 170-degree viewing angle that lets users compose shots with greater accuracy. The large screen also makes it easier to read and navigate through menu options, including Nikon’s in-camera scene modes that make camera operation even simpler in a wide range of common shooting situations. Users will appreciate Nikon’s One-touch portrait button, which provides direct access to three of Nikon’s Image Innovation features: Face-Priority AF*, detects and achieves sharp focus on human faces, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and D-Lighting, for underexposed images and shots with too much back light.

The COOLPIX S10 adds entertainment to photography with Nikon’s Pictmotion feature, which lets users select images, movies, music and visual styles in-camera to create automatically produced audiovisual shows which can be played back on LCD screen or to a television screen.

COOLPIX S10 will be available in September, 2006 with a manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) of $479.95.
