Future Shop, Canada’s largest national
retailer and e-tailer of consumer electronics, is celebrating the opening of
its new store in Niagara Falls, Ontario. There will be festivities all weekend
long at the new store, located at 7555 Montrose Rd., Niagara, starting with a
ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Ted Salci, the morning of Friday,
October 20th.
The new Niagara Falls Future Shop will provide visitors with over 20,000
square feet of the latest technology in a comfortable, interactive
environment. Future Shop provides an exceptional range of the latest digital
products including a wide selection of brand-named televisions, computers,
audio, entertainment software and hardware plus appliances – all backed by a
low price guarantee. The store will also offer many additional features and
services including car audio install bays, DVD preview stations, music
listening stations, in-store computer technicians and exciting home theatre
and digital audio displays.

The weekend-long celebration will kick-off on Friday, October 20th with a
ribbon cutting ceremony outside the store starting at 9:30 am. A
representative from the local Boys and Girls Club will be present to accept a
donation from the Niagara Falls Future Shop store as part of the company’s
Future Grants program.

As part of the grand opening, the new Niagara Falls store will be
celebrating Future Shop’s continued partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs
of Canada with a cheque presentation ceremony on the Friday morning of the
grand opening weekend, before the store opens its doors.
Future Shop will present the Boys and Girls Club Community Services with
a $1000 Gift Card as part of the company’s Future Grants program. This program
provides an opportunity for clubs across the country to apply for a grant to
make improvements to their facility or help with local fundraising
initiatives.
