John Paczkowski has reported that Apple is now expected to launch the next generation iPhone in October this year.
The company was previously expected to launch it in September.
The report said that AT&T has instructed their employees to prepare for intense activity in the last two weeks of September for the big launch.
Apple of course has not revealed anything about the next model. It is expected to be powered with the powerful A5 processor and should come loaded with iOS 5.
