ReUp, a digital application that lets business owners build their own branded loyalty payment app for iOS and Android devices, has launched in Canada, helping local businesses connect with and reward customers using a mobile payment platform.
According to a recent study by Accenture, 53 per cent of customers would make mobile payments if they could collect reward points or earn discounts and coupons. Loyalty and pre-payment apps, like ReUp builds on this premise, giving businesses, such as coffee shops, salons, gyms etc., the capability to enhance their customer engagement and retention rates, growing their businesses and increasing their profits.
"With the popularity of mobile payment apps increasing on a daily basis we saw a need to provide smaller and independent businesses with same capabilities as the big players – without needing to commit the same level of financial investment and technical expertise upfront," says Asim Shahjahan, co-founder and CEO of ReUp. "My partner and I have developed this plug and play solution to help local business compete and we look forward to taking it to the next step in the Canadian market."
ReUp is currently being used at over 10 locations including, Astarté, Cheesewerks, Crave Healthy Habits and more in downtown Toronto, as well as Great Dane Coffee in Vancouver.
