Sharp Canada’s Business Solutions Division (BSD), launches of the new PN-E Series of LED Displays, as well as its first professional grade 70" Class (69.5" diagonal) 4K Ultra HD Display.

With their sleek design, and support for landscape and portrait installations, the PN-E703/E603 displays provide an amazing degree of flexibility for around-the-clock operations. The new PN-H701 offers 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160) to showcase detailed text and breathtaking high-resolution content. The PN-E Series feature 70-inch-class (69.5" diagonal) and 60-inch-class (60.1" diagonal) Sharp LED screen sizes, is based on the same design and interface as the company's popular 700 nit PN-R series, and comes with significant changes to the size and shape when compared to its predecessors. The PN-E703 is 40% thinner and 86% lighter than the previous model, with the PN-E603 being 45% thinner and 84% lighter than its predecessor.

Having outstanding brightness, these new displays produce 450 candelas per square meter (cd/m²), making them ideal for controlled lighting environments. Additionally Sharp's UV²A technology allows the displays to achieve truly bright whites and extremely deep blacks for incredible contrast.

"We are proud to add the new PN-E703 and PN-E603 to our lineup, bringing a great design, high brightness and competitive price point to the market. It is especially exciting to introduce our first professional grade 4K UHD display from Sharp and all the advanced features of Ultra High Definition in a 24/7 professional grade product that is as versatile as it is durable," said Mike Murphy, Director, Sales & Marketing, Digital Communication Solutions, BSD.

Sharp's first professional 4K UHD display is a 70" Class, with ultra-slim aluminum bezel, and was fully designed and engineered for 24/7 operation in professional and commercial installations. Measuring just 9mm (top/right/left) in thinness, it is the narrowest and lightest display in its class, allowing for simple installation and maintenance. Designed for both portrait and landscape formats, with up to 20-degree upward and downward tilts, this high-impact professional display is ideal for a multitude of environments, including command and control, museum and entertainment, as well as unified communications and collaboration. Unlike some other professional grade 4K Ultra HD models, the Sharp PN-H701 comes equipped with built-in upscaling capability, allowing Full HD (1080p) signals to easily upscale to 4K Ultra HD. In addition, the PN-H701 features a built-in USB Port and internal memory media player, allowing playback of informational content without the need of a PC.

"These new introductions continue to position Sharp as a leader in the world of commercial display and we look forward to driving growth in this market with the highest levels of technology, product quality and service," said Carmine Cinerari, President, Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd

The PN-H701 and PN-E603 model are available now.  The PN-E703 will become available in April.
