NetDiligence, a leading cyber risk assessment and data breach services company, announced that it is hosting Cyber Risk Summit, a full-day event focused on emerging cybersecurity and privacy liability issues in Canada. The event will feature more than 20 Canadian speakers who are experts in cyber risk management and privacy liability.

NetDiligence, Advisen's 2014 Cyber Service Vendor of the Year, has hosted cyber liability forums in the U.S. since 2010. These events have attracted thought leaders in cyber liability insurance, cyber risk management, and privacy law from around the globe.

The NetDiligence Cyber Risk Summit is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the St. Andrew's Club and Conference Centre in Toronto.

The curriculum is designed for corporate risk managers, CFOs, insurers, information security technologists, lawyers and insurance brokers seeking to learn more about how companies may be found liable for a data breaches that may trigger class actions; what risk control measures, standards and safeguard practices are reasonable & prudent; where many companies are weak; how to assess cyber risk; how to recognize if a breach has occurred; how to investigate an incident; how to develop an incident response plan; and the value of cyber liability insurance coverage.
