Navvia named Cool Vendor by Gartner, Inc.

Navvia, a leading ITSM Software and Services company, today announced it has been included in the 2014 list of "Cool Vendors" in IT Operations by Gartner, Inc.

The report analyzed Navvia's SaaS application that allows users to create and manage their ITSM process documentation, assess process capability and govern processes against standards such as ITIL and COBIT. The application also includes variety of ITSM training courses as part of the solution.

According to one of the report's findings: "Although organizations may be looking beyond just ITIL® for IT Service Management (ITSM) guidance, ITIL® is still highly prevalent with vendors focusing on improving the ability for I&O leaders to adopt, manage and support improved ITIL processes (1)."

One of the most effective ways to reduce the cost of IT infrastructure and operations is through the implementation of repeatable processes aligned to the needs of your organization. Navvia has been built using a combination of best practices, such as ITIL® and CobiT®, combined with 15 years of practical service management experience. The goal being to help clients quickly and effectively implement service management.

There is a lot more to the implementation of effective service management processes than the implementation of a service management tool. In fact, "70% of what makes a good ITSM program happens outside of the ticketing/ITSM tool. At Navvia, we have created a product that helps organizations be successful in implementing ITSM and are honored to be recognized by Gartner," says David Mainville – CEO, Navvia.
