Raising performance standards across the IT
services industry, N-able Technologies, the preferred supplier of remote
monitoring and management software and specialized business support services
for managed service providers (MSPs), announced its new N-central
6.7 software featuring breakthrough remote control functionality for virtually
any IP-enabled device. Simultaneously, the company also announced the next
generation of its customizable N-compass(TM) advanced business reporting
software.

Available next month, N-able’s new N-central software marks a major
technology milestone for remote control, desktop and network management
functionality. New features include several technology innovations that center
on enhanced IT automation, overall performance and usability, advanced
integration with Intel(R) vPro, and instant remote manageability in
heterogeneous environments and within networking infrastructure hardware such
as routers, switches and printers. In addition, N-central 6.7 offers partners
a new customer setup and rollout process that radically reduces the time it
takes to on-board new clients from hours to mere minutes.

N-able’s new N-compass 3.0 features a number of new advancements
including flexible drag and drop report building, time-based SLA reporting, as
well as asset reports that detail the performance and lifecycle expectations
of all technologies tied to the network and allows for more strategic planning
on hardware and software upgrades. The new functionality and custom branded
reports are designed to help channel partners easily demonstrate ROI and the
true business value of their services to clients and prospects.

Several N-able partners who have previewed N-central 6.7 and
N-compass 3.0 say the new offerings deliver the performance, power and
usability enhancements that MSPs and other service providers need to maximize
operational productivity and more effectively service small and medium-sized
businesses.

N-able partner and successful MSP Dave Brewer, president & CEO of BC
Networks, says the latest versions of N-central and N-compass are “very
impressive and feature the IT automation and business reporting enhancements
we need to take our customer service to that next level of excellence.”

Stephanie Heflin, director of services for RIATA Technologies, one of the
IT industry’s most successful MSPs, agrees with Brewer’s assessment and
credits N-able for helping the company break into the managed services market
five years ago. “With N-able’s technology and business support services, we
have been able to grow our business and service our customers faster and with
more efficiency,” says Heflin. “The new remote control features and
performance enhancements found in N-central 6.7 will make it that much easier
for our technicians to service customers more proactively and with greater
speed and precision. N-central 6.7 will also work to decrease deployment time
and make on-boarding new clients easier and faster, which is of critical
importance to our technicians and will help us increase utilization rates and
customer service.”

“The breakthrough remote control technology found within our new
N-central and the robust reporting features offered within our N-compass
software will set a new standard of performance in the managed services
marketplace and give our partners an unrivaled services edge that will make
them that much more successful and valued by clients,” says Gavin Garbutt,
president and CEO, N-able Technologies. “When you combine these technology
innovations with our ongoing investments in N-able University, partner
development and N-able’s online Partner Portal which is now being used by more
than 7,000 IT service professionals worldwide, the competitive differentiators
between us and other vendors become very clear.”
