Thousands of software developers from around the globe will converge on the sold-out Microsoft Professional Developers Conference 2005 (PDC05) next month. The conference, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Sept. 13-16 with pre- conference sessions Sept. 11 and 12, is the premier developer event in the world, featuring in-depth exposure to the latest Microsoft developer technologies and a chance to interact with other members of the developer community. As a part of the event, attendees have the unique opportunity to learn about forthcoming product releases such as the next version of Microsoft Office, code-named “Office 12,” and Microsoft Windows Vista , formerly code-named “Longhorn.”
Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates and other Microsoft executives are scheduled to deliver keynote presentations unveiling the latest Microsoft platform innovations for developers.
For nearly two decades Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference has served as a place for developers passionate about software to connect with their peers in the global developer community. Attendees can attend in-depth technology sessions and hear about the latest technology advancements through keynote addresses, interactive labs, community forums such as Ask the Experts and Birds of a Feather sessions, and many more activities. Developers at PDC05 will also benefit from symposiums that present vital information on important topics such as the future of software security and architecture.
More than 900 bloggers are contributing to the PDC Bloggers Web site ( http://pdcbloggers.net/ ), which provides developers with another way to communicate and connect with conference attendees and provide updates to the broader developer community.
