Microsoft introduces Fishbowl desktop client for Facebook

Microsoft uxlabs have released a new desktop application for the Windows platform.

Fishbowl uses the Facebook stream APIs to provide access to the popular social networking platform using a desktop client.

It is a technology showcase so the application is not supported by the company.

It uses several of the Windows 7 features to provide some advanced functionality that are not going to be accessible from other Windows versions.

Users get to read their news-feed in addition to post on their Facebook profile from right inside the client.
