Microsoft has finally admitted that they are well on track to deliver Windows 7 before the end of the current year.
The company has already released a Release Candidate edition of Windows 7 and it looks pretty solid.
They are now working on the RTM edition of Windows 7 and the developers believe that milestone could be hit in a couple of months.
That would enable the company to launch Windows 7 in the market before the start of the crucial holiday season.
The company has yet to announce the free upgrade program for customers who buy their machines with Windows Vista in the coming months.
