Microsoft and Google have collaborated together to take on GeoTag.
GeoTag has been labeled as a patent troll by industry analysts. They own a patent related to geo-location technologies and they are using it to file lawsuit against people who are using maps service provided by Microsoft and Google.
Microsoft and Google have together filed a lawsuit against GeoTag in US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division. They are asking the courts to step GeoTag from harassing regular web users. They are also seeking recovery of the costs and legal fees.
