Microsoft released a developer preview edition of their next Windows edition yesterday and it has already been a major hit with the consumers.
The company revealed that they saw more than 500,000 downloads in the first 12 hours of availability.
This is pretty impressive stuff considering the build is not even beta quality and is not designed to be used on a production machine.
The company has however plans to support it for a limited time period though updates for drivers and other stuff.
