Microsoft has hit a small milestone with their mobile app store catering to the users of Windows Phone 7 devices.
Windows Marketplace for Mobile now has more than 10,000 apps that can be used on the WP7 mobile platform.
Of course, this is a pretty small number when compared to the app stores for Google Android and market leader Apple iPhone.
The company has been working with several third party developers to bring more apps to this marketplace.
Remains to be seen how soon it can start challenging the likes of Google Android Market and Apple App Store.
