March Networks, a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video surveillance solutions, announced that it has launched R(5) Visual Intelligence Suite and the 4000 C Series Networked Video Recorders (NVRs) at this week’s ASIS International 2005 Seminar and Exhibits in Orlando, Florida.
The R(5) Visual Intelligence Suite allows businesses to increase their operational efficiencies, address risk, and effectively manage assets with an integrated set of video-based intelligence tools that support enhanced decision-making. Integrated video analytics capabilities build on comprehensive surveillance, investigation and case management tools addressing the needs of enterprise business customers for sophisticated video and network management applications.
The new 4000 C Series NVRs represent a converged video management platform that supports both IP and analog camera integration and network storage capabilities. The 4000 C Series also combines Video Transcoding and Adaptive Compression Technology to ensure the highest quality video and bandwidth optimization. The C Series features a complete family of NVRs including the new 4516 C NVR – a high performance 480 NTSC frames per second model (400 PAL frames per second).
“The launch of our R(5) Visual Intelligence Suite and 4000 C Series NVRs represents an important technological advancement and broadens our product offering.” said Peter Strom, president and CEO, March Networks. “As customers continue to demand more from their video surveillance and monitoring solutions, March Networks continues to deliver world class products that meet and exceed customer expectations.”
