Macromedia, Inc. announced that Brandon Hall Research recognized both Macromedia Breeze and Macromedia Captivate with Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards for the solutions’ e-learning innovations. Additionally, Technology & Learning magazine awarded a 2005 Awards of Excellence to Captivate. Macromedia Captivate won a Gold award in the Innovative Technology category at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 18, in Long Beach, California. Captivate was recognized for its ability to enable users to rapidly create professional-quality, interactive simulations and software demonstrations. A total of 210 entries representing 16 countries were submitted, and the entries were evaluated by independent judges with expertise in instructional design and learning technology from 47 countries around the world. Technology & Learning magazine also named Captivate a 2005 Awards of Excellence winner, and will recognize the software in its December 2005 issue.
