Lifeboat Distribution Adds Field Sales Executives to Support Vendor Lines and Reseller Growth

     Lifeboat Distribution, an international distributor of specialty software and hardware solutions in virtualization, security, storage and networking, announced the hiring of four new members of the Company’s recently formed North America field sales team.
    In announcing the additions, Evan Westenskow, Lifeboat’s Director of Field Sales for North America said, “The goal for our field sales executives is to grow the business by working closely with their vendor field sales team counterparts, and with key executives at our VAR and DMR customers and prospects.” He continued, “These four individuals have a great understanding of the channel and how to add value, grow the business and increase channel profitability.”
    Lifeboat’s new field sales executives are:
    §  John Dubay in the Southeast Region, most recently with RES Software and previously with Veeam Software and Citrix.
    §  John Sotos in the Central Region, recently with PKWARE, previously with Autonomy, CommVault, Sun and HP.
    §  Katie Kunker in the Northeast, most recently with VMware, previously with Veeam Software and PC Connection.
    §  Kevin Kelly in the West, most recently with Microsoft, previously with Agile360, FutureLink and Canon USA.
    “Evan Westenskow has great team-building abilities and these new members of his team have extensive experience and relationships working with vendors and VARs,” said Bill Botti, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Lifeboat Distribution. “Our field sales team will be a perfect complement to Lifeboat’s Inside Sales and Support Team, who received very high marks for their service, responsiveness and operational efficiency in a recent survey that was conducted among our vendors, DMRs and VARS.”
