Buffer Festival Powered by LG, the premiere international film festival celebrating YouTube creators, convenes in downtown Toronto, October 23 to 25, 2015. The festival, which draws internationally renowned YouTube creators, fans and influencers is made possible this year through the support of lead sponsor, LG Electronics Canada.

The latest LG smartphone, the LG G4 is front and centre in the celebration of YouTube talent showcased at Buffer Festival which is also the launch pad for #LGnofilter initiative. #LGnofilter places the LG G4 in the hands of a select group of innovative YouTubers who will use LG smartphone technology to produce short, one to five minute films about what it means to live with no filter. The films will be premiered at Buffer Festival and featured as part of a larger, national campaign that asks Canadians to share their #LGnofilter moments in celebration of their unique perspectives.

In addition to having LG brand integration throughout the festival and Buffer Festival collateral, LG will take part in panel discussions and will host YouTube celebrity meet-ups. A key feature of LG's involvement includes a number of interactive experiences at marquis events. The LG Gala Reception, taking place Friday October 23, 2015 at Roy Thompson Hall will host YouTube celebrity guests of the gala while offering demonstrations and interactive experiences with LG innovations. At the gala, the LG Digital Lounge keeps festival goers connected to the festival, the internet and the latest LG technology.  At screenings, festival guests will have the opportunity to have keepsake photos taken within the LG Photo Booth. The LG Green Room will ensure YouTube celebrities and special guests of the festival have a dedicated lounge with all the necessary comforts including access to LG devices and technology as well as charging stations.
