Mobile phone companies are also launching devices with 3D capable displays in some markets.
LG is the latest to announce plans to launch 3D display mobiles in the near future.
The company said that their phones with 3D display would not require any special glasses.
LG recently showcased a 4.3-inch stand-alone 3D display at the CES event earlier this month.
Sharp is another company which is betting on this niche segment. It is not clear how popular these phones would become in the future.
