Today, so much of our time is spent sitting in front of a computer screen or TV and it looks like this trend will only accelerate. When you are sitting, you are not moving and that can be a big negative to your health. On top of this, the repetitive motions of typing and focusing our eyes on the screen compounds this problem and increases the risks to your health.
We have been digging into the research data to better understand the impact of this modern age behaviour that we have all come to accept as normal. So far, everything we found indicated that these behaviours are not looking good for our health!

One thing that all seem to agree on is that we sit too much! So the first advice is quite simple common sense… Get up and move around as often as you can. Look away from the screen as often as you can. Take breaks! Place your computer on a high table or adjustable table to keep your body in motion. The more you move, the better for your health!
Sitting may be the new smoking and that is definitely not good for anyone’s health. With the gamers and next generation, this problem may become the next biggest challenge facing the health of humans.
