iPoint-systems continues to grow: With the takeover of the software specialist Inplus, the Reutlingen-based software and consulting company can expand its market position by offering an even broader portfolio which now also covers the areas plant safety, occupational safety, and environmental management. "We are delighted to have Inplus GmbH and the company's tried and trusted solutions under our roof now", Joerg Walden, iPoint's CEO, stated. "We are particularly pleased that the entire Inplus staff is still on board. This enables us to leverage synergies quickly, to pursue our ambitious growth strategy more holistically, and provide our customers with a much more diversified solutions portfolio. We consider this acquisition as an essential building block in the context of our long-term business strategy." Strategically, the expansion fits perfectly into iPoint's Circular Economy focus and the holistic solutions portfolio for the entire product life cycle – from product conception to manufacturing and usage through to recycling and reuse.

For more than 25 years, Inplus GmbH has been developing integrated IT solutions for meeting legal, administrative, and company-specific requirements in the areas of environmental management, plant safety, and occupational safety. The customer base of Inplus, which is headquartered near Munich, includes companies from the metal, chemical, mineral oil, and paper industry as well as cities and municipalities. "We are very happy about the extension of our customer relationships into these sectors and about the expansion potentials for our solutions portfolio resulting from this acquisition", Hans-Gerhard Lang, responsible for Global Sales & Alliances at iPoint, emphasized.

Until now, iPoint's focus has been on product compliance and legal requirements in areas such as REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, or the End of Life Vehicles Directive. In future, the Inplus software will enable iPoint to also cover location-based compliance as well as production-related environmental protection and occupational safety.

Christoph Schaaf, Inplus-CEO, is confident that everyone involved and the customers in particular will benefit from this acquisition. "Both companies and teams complement each other perfectly. I am sure that together we will advance iPoint's position as leading global player for product compliance, sustainability, safety, and environmental production even further. Inplus GmbH will bring in and apply our entire expert knowledge and software development know-how to expand and strengthen our joint solutions portfolio sustainably and to expedite the holistic approach."
