Microsoft has launched the third platform preview edition of their upcoming Internet Explorer 9 web browser.

It is available for testing for anyone who is interested. It is still not usable as a regular browser as the user interface is pretty basic.

Microsoft claims that the IE9 preview editions have been downloaded more than 2 million times which shows that there is massive interest in this version of this web browser.

The latest preview version comes with support for a couple of new HTML5 technologies like Canvas, audio and video tags.

It also support CSS3 Font Face and Web Open Font Format.
