Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest technology distributor, announced it has been designated an HP PartnerONE Distributor partner to help provide HP channel partners with more value and higher profit potential.

As a designated PartnerONE Distributor partner in the United States, Ingram Micro will serve as a PartnerONE expert to channel partners assisting them in maximizing their benefits and delivering additional value to channel partners with Ingram-sponsored activities and promotional campaigns. In addition, Ingram Micro will offer cross-selling programs and attach-rate techniques to assist HP solution providers with developing larger, more complex HP solutions. Solution provider customers who take advantage of Ingram Micro’s programs have the potential to enjoy even greater rewards from HP and a deeper engagement with the distributor.

Renowned as HP’s global channel program, PartnerONE provides qualified U.S. solution providers with lead generation, marketing support and back-end HP rebates. PartnerONE also rewards resellers for selling solutions that include a mix of products from HP, including servers, storage, software and services.

To oversee HP’s channel program, Ingram Micro has appointed Carmen McCarthy, market development manager, Ingram Micro United States, as the PartnerONE lead working directly with solution providers and the distributor’s inside and field sales and marketing teams. In addition, four regionally focused market development representatives will also serve as resources for HP resellers and those solution provider customers interested in adopting broader HP solutions.
