InComm, a leading prepaid product and transaction services company, announced the launch of InComm Mobile Platform (IMP) for mobile wallet providers and merchants. IMP integrates with multiple platforms to provide a full-breadth of capabilities required to process mobile payments made using prepaid cards at retail POS. The platform also enables InComm to develop and host mobile applications for merchants and partners. Canadian communications and media company Rogers is the first company to leverage IMP for development of the recently launched suretap™ wallet.

IMP supports consumer payments based on Near Field Communication (NFC) at the retail POS and account top-up through traditional credit and debit cards. Through a technology partnership, InComm created a Service Provider Trusted Services Manager (TSM) solution, allowing prepaid card information to securely pass from the issuing platform and then be provisioned on mobile devices.

The InComm Mobile Platform acts as the hub for all inbound and outbound messaging requests related to the prepaid products in a mobile wallet. This includes integrations to InComm's internal systems and more than seven partner systems for switching and processing a wide array of transactions, including card provisioning, card reloads, buying and sending digital cards, and many other traditional consumer functions. The platform provides a wide array of reporting services for billing, reconciliation and customer analytics, and because it was built with a highly configurable use case orchestration system and business rules engine, it can easily adapt to changing market demands.

Further, InComm provides prepaid card processing that manages the balances and transactions of card accounts. The prepaid processing platform supports the creation of prepaid debit card accounts, the generation of track data, the funding of accounts, balance inquiries and transaction history. InComm also provides fraud management services for monitoring unusual activity and addressing potential issues.

InComm Mobile Platform Benefits Include:

  • Configurable functions
  • Interchangeable partner systems
  • Transaction routing
  • NFC enablement

  • Credit/debit card provisioning
