US based tech giant IBM has announced that they have acquired Cast Iron Systems.

Cast Iron Systems is a company specializing in cloud computing services.

The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.

IBM is betting big on cloud computing and this would boost their offerings in this growing segment of the market.

IBM has already spent close to around USD 1 billion on acquisitions in the first quarter of the year and they plan on expanding through acquisitions in the near future.
