Hearst Corporation has become one of the major publishers to sign up a deal with Apple to bring their magazines to the Apple iPad platforms.

The company would soon offer a variety of magazines in digital edition on the iPad. They own several popular titles like Esquire, Popular Mechanics, and O.

Customers would be charged USD 2 for a single issue and USD 20 for yearly subscription.

This pricing is sort of disappointing as you can get cheaper subscriptions to their paper magazines.

However, the digital editions are going to be interactive and might feature more up to date information.
